The Hollywood ladder gets bloody in this week's The Studio
Apple TV+’s comedy The Studio hit the halfway point of its first season this week with an episode that asks a key question for the show and most programs that dare to pull the curtain back on the Emerald City that is Hollywood: Isn’t it amazing that movies get made at all? With ego battles, conflicting agendas, inconsistent hierarchies, and thrown burritos, how does a film production even get off the ground? After sidelining Chase Sui Wonders’ Quinn last week entirely, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg give her a spotlight in “The War,” a generation-gap battle between creative executives.
